Jo holds the title of Chartered Project Professional and is a Fellow of the Association for Project Management, with two decades of experience successfully delivering programmes and projects in healthcare. Until June 2023, Jo served as Head of the Corporate Portfolio Management Office and Head of Profession at Health Education England (HEE).

In her role as Head of Profession for HEE, Jo spearheaded the advancement of the project and change profession within the NHS. She is also founder of the Healthcare Project and Change Association, a not-for-profit organisation committed to equipping health and care organisations and professionals with the skills and knowledge needed to innovate services and quality.

An advocate for cross-disciplinary collaboration and learning, Jo is passionate about leveraging expertise from different professional backgrounds, industrial sectors, and global communities. She ardently promotes professional standards as a strategy for attracting and retaining a highly skilled project and change workforce in healthcare, to ensure the sustainability and excellence of health and care services for future generations.
